The hand is the essential tool of creation for an artist. In a work of art, it could represent the identity of an artist and express their thoughts visually. The Croatian sculptor Ivan Meštrović’s Hand seems to protrude vertically from the plinth. Special attention was paid to the long fingers that splay and bend to different angles in a powerful, eloquent gesture.
