Wire Basket with Handle

Many metal works by the Vienna Workshop were made with the traditional technique of cold metal working. Revived around the turn of the century, the technique shapes metal at near room temperature, as opposed to hot working, so the material can be crafted while retaining its original qualities. This basket, also made using cold metal working technique, has perforated patterns that create a harmonious interplay of intricate geometric design.
